Students may transfer into an equivalent course that meets on a different day or time that has not yet begun.

All requests for transfers or withdrawals must be submitted for review via email to sawubonacreativityproject@gmail.com

Please Note: Transfers are not guaranteed. Classes are scheduled based on the number of students enrolled. Sawubona Creativity Project has a strict number of students in each class. Transfers are contingent on availability.

Attendance

Classes typically meet one time per week for six or eight weeks. Each session culminates in a showcase to be enjoyed by family and friends. If a student misses any more than two classes, they will not be able to keep up with what the rest of the class is learning and preparing for the showcase. Students that miss more than two classes will be dropped from the class without a refund.

In the case of emergencies and/or health concerns please alert the instructor or email sawubonacreativityproject@gmail.com so that we may modify our attendance policy.

Students should plan to arrive at least 5 minutes before start of class time. Arriving 30 minutes late or leaving 30 minutes early will count as an absence.

Class Showcase

Each class session concludes with a showcase. Students have a chance to show off their improv skills to their family and friends in a fun and supportive environment.

These shows are optional. Students are not required to attend or perform in the class showcase. Our instructors will teach their students everything they need to know in order to perform in the showcase but sometimes a student might not feel ready, and that is totally okay. We will make sure that we leave space open for them to jump in once they are up for it.
