Theatre Rental FAQ’s

What are the booking requirements? All renters must attend an onsite visit, provide proof of identity, review and sign necessary paperwork. For shows and performances, renter must carry general liability insurance.

What is the capacity? 50 seated guests

What are the permitted uses of the theatre? Special events (non-theatrical) birthday parties, theatre performances, staged readings, dance, music videos, photography, stand-up/improv/sketch shows, classes and workshops.

Are there any restrictions for renting the facility? We ask that all events be in accordance with our mission and policy and procedures which can be found here Policy and Procedures and here Our Mission. Any shows outside of that realm should be clearly stated in any marketing material i.e. Blue Shows.

What forms of payment do you accept? Most scheduling payments are handled via Skedda. Renter must have a valid credit card to place on file through the app.

What is the cancellation policy?  Cancellations must be made via app 24 hours in advance.

What hours is the space available for rent? Sunday thru Thursday 10am-10pm, depending on availability.

Do you provide staffing during performances? We provide one personnel for shows/events. Renter may hire additional SCP personnel at a rate of $20 per hour per personnel.

Does the theatre provide any equipment? Yes. The theatre has theatre seating for 40 people, 25 folding chairs, (2) 6ft tables, 1 card table, 1 stage areas (10ftx8ftx6in), stage curtains, DMX light board and basic stage lighting set-up, 2 speakers, 2 wired mics, 3 Bluetooth mics, a Rockville PA system, projector and screen (16:9 or 110 inches), 2 smart tv’s.

What about marketing materials and ticketing? You are responsible for marketing and promoting your show/event, develop marketing material, ticketing etc.
