SOME THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

Medication: we do not have a nurse on staff. Any student who needs to take medication during the One Day Camp, the parent/guardian must provide any/all medication including over-the-counter medications. All medication must be stored securely (in a ziplock bag) labeled with the child's first and last name. Student must be able to self-administer

*In the event of an emergency staff will administer life saving medication:  PA Policy

Please complete this medication form and submit to SCP prior to attendance: Parental Consent to Administer Medication

Videos/Photos: we do our best to record shows but we do not have a photographer on staff. Feel free to take pictures and videos of your own. When posting on social media please tag us @sawubonacreativity and #sawubonacreativity.

We will share all pictures/videos with you via Dropbox (you don’t need a Dropbox account to view photos/videos).

Staffing/Volunteers: there will be 2-4 adult staff members in the theatre: 2 teaching artists and 2 teachers aides.

Participation: performance can be a very vulnerable and scary thing. Your child may enjoy learning all about theatre arts, practicing and playing but they may not want to perform in a live show and that is okay. Students who choose not to participate in the live show may have the option of recording their performance to be shared during the show.

Child sensory needs: if your child has any sensory needs please ensure that they have the tools or items they need to be comfortable ie: students with noise sensitivities can bring/wear noise canceling headphones. We take several breaks throughout the day and we take a 1 hour lunch. We have an outdoor back patio where students can get some fresh air.

Location: We are located at 1626 E. Passyunk Avenue, Philadelphia PA 19148 (across from Cantina Los Caballitos). There is metered parking along Passyunk (free between 8:30a-10:00a) we are also next to a parking lot.
